KINZUA BRIDGE STATE PARK VISITORS’ CENTER
LEED SILVER CERTIFICATION
The design of the new two story 12,700 square foot Visitor Center and Office facility incorporates the unique needs of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, while focusing on the history of the Kinzua Bridge and Pennsylvania State Park. The variety of functions include two exhibit halls, classrooms, gift shop, offices and support spaces. A grand lobby showcases the view overlooking the bridge skywalk and the beautiful valley. The exhibit areas include interactive displays on engineering, energy and the environment, as well as illustrate the vast history of the bridge. The project achieved LEED Silver Certification.
