QUAKER STEAK & LUBE
The building consists of two bar rooms with dining for 54 people in one area and 110 in the other, as well as additional dining room seating for 168 people. An enclosed patio dining area which seats 70 people was also designed to incorporate the automobile theme. The kitchen design and food service equipment layouts were coordinated within the overall project design. Special attention was given to detail which highlights the automobile and motorcycle theme of the restaurant. The conceptual design by Babcock, Schmidt, Louis & Partners for the 9,640 s.f. specialty theme restaurant was developed and implemented by Shelane Buehler, AIA while a partner at another firm.
